FASD Awareness

I created CGI sequences for two campaign films New Planet Film & Media produced for their client FASD Awareness to raise awareness about Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder.

I met with the director of the two films, Max Blustin, to discuss the 3D sequences he wanted to incorporate. He explained they would shoot a live-action sequence in a nightclub which would intercut with shots of a developing fetus.

I was supplied with rushes from the live-action shoot. Using Blender 3D, I staged, lit, and animated the scene and 3D camera moves, then rendered shots for the final edit. The two films were published online. “What Can Alcohol Do To a Fetus” received 61,000 views, and “#BeAware Pregnancy” received 47,000 views.
