EQUIPOL

EQUIPOL aims to develop and promote more equitable approaches to public policy. Hired as an independent producer, I worked with the public health scientists who run the project to create an animated video that explained the problem with designing public health policy for the ‘average person’ — because almost no one’s average! I read academic papers to inform a script I wrote in collaboration with the EQUIPOL team. I then created storyboards and roughs in Toon Boom Storyboard Pro. The animation was created using a mix of cel and vector animation in Adobe Animate and Adobe After Effects and was voiced by Luci Fish.
